End User License Agreement

1. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Mangoose LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on a mobile device that you own or control.

2. RESTRICTIONS

You agree NOT to:

• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or distribute the App
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
• Copy, reproduce, or redistribute AI-generated content for commercial purposes

3. AI-GENERATED CONTENT

The App uses artificial intelligence (Claude) to generate personalized devotional content. You acknowledge and agree that:

• Content is generated based on your profile preferences and is unique to you
• AI-generated content is provided "as is" for personal spiritual reflection
• We do not guarantee theological accuracy of all AI-generated interpretations
• Content should be considered supplementary to, not a replacement for, traditional Bible study and spiritual guidance
• You may not republish, redistribute, or use AI-generated content for commercial purposes without written permission
• We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove content that violates our guidelines

4. USER ACCOUNTS AND DATA

To use the App, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be at least 13 years old (or have parental consent if under 18)

We collect and process your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including email address (for authentication), name and profile preferences, reading history and bookmarks, and device information for push notifications.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The App and all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by Mangoose LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Bible verses are sourced from public domain translations or used under license.

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App integrates with third-party services including:

• Claude (AI content)
• ElevenLabs (audio generation)
• OneSignal (push notifications)
• MongoDB Atlas (data storage)

Your use of these services through the App is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

7. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

By enabling push notifications, you consent to receive:

• Daily devotional reminders at your selected time
• Optional prayer reminder notifications
• Occasional important app updates or announcements

You may disable notifications at any time through the App settings or your device settings.

8. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PURCHASES

Currently, during Beta, the App is provided free of charge. When we introduce in-app purchases or subscriptions in the future:

• Pricing will be clearly displayed before purchase
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds will be subject to Apple App Store or Google Play Store policies
• You may cancel subscriptions through your device's account settings

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Defects will be corrected
• The App is free of viruses or harmful components
• AI-generated content will meet your spiritual or theological expectations
• The App will be compatible with all devices or operating systems

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MANGOOSE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use the App
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party content or conduct on the App
• Any AI-generated content or interpretations
• Any interruption or cessation of the App

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mangoose LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:

• Your access to or use of the App
• Your violation of this Agreement
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Your misuse of AI-generated content

12. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including violation of this Agreement, fraudulent or illegal activity, or at your request to delete your account.

Upon termination:

• Your license to use the App terminates immediately
• You must cease all use of the App and delete it from your devices
• We may delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from this Agreement or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

1. Informal Negotiation: Contact us at support@mangoose.xyz to resolve disputes informally.
2. Binding Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
3. Class Action Waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

14. APPLE APP STORE SPECIFIC TERMS

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

• This Agreement is between you and Mangoose LLC, not Apple
• Apple is not responsible for the App or its content
• Apple has no warranty obligation for the App
• Apple is not responsible for addressing claims related to the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of this Agreement and may enforce it

15. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

We reserve the right to modify this Agreement at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Agreement in the App, sending a notification through the App or email, or displaying a prominent notice when you next open the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Agreement.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement, together with our Privacy Policy, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Mangoose LLC regarding the App and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.

19. NO WAIVER

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
